This Fall’s It Boot Is Knee-High and Heeled
This fall, forget about the ankle bootie and pick up an elegant, sexy, statement-making knee-high boot, instead. In recent weeks, it has been worn repeatedly by both Emily Ratajkowski and Kendall Jenner. At Milan Fashion Week, EmRata sported a teetering chocolate pair with a mini tank dress, and shortly after, Jenner took the Western style trend one step further with sky blue cowboy boots and cutoff shorts. Here, the head-turning formula is beyond simple: Make sure the boots are tall with a heel and, of course, show a bit of thigh.
As it happens, the silhouette featured on the runways for Fall 2018. Off-White showed some slick renditions in slate gray and blue, and it also appeared at Rochas in python print and in leopard spots at Giamba. Want to get the look? For a punch, try a Paris Texas pair in a deep red or an optic-white take by Tony Bianco. For something classic, try midnight-black versions by Stuart Weitzman and M. Gemi.
