Three tanks, one order
What arrives is three cropped tanks in one bag: black, white, and a third colour that changes with the pack you pick, so brown or light pink or navy or plum. The reason to buy it this way is not variety. It is that a crop tank is worn against skin every day and washed every second day, so three is roughly the number that keeps one clean while one is drying. All three are the same cut and the same knit, which matters more than it sounds: a pack whose colours differ in weight is a pack you stop wearing as a set.
A V that closes
The front is cut as a V, but the base is rounded rather than pointed, and the edge is finished with a band instead of a raw cut. Two things follow. The band sits flat against the chest, so the neckline keeps its line after a wash instead of curling, and the V stops at the top of the chest rather than running down to the sternum, which is why it reads as athletic rather than as a going out top. The straps leave the band at the shoulder and run straight up, so nothing gathers at the collarbone.
The straps cross high
On the back the two straps cross in an X centred between the shoulder blades, and below the crossing a straight band runs across the middle of the back. That band is what carries the tank: the hem holds to the ribs, the straps only keep it up. It also explains why the upper back is open. Above the band there is nothing but the two straps and skin, so the piece vents across the shoulder blades, which is where a knit top usually feels hottest first. The straps are fixed, with no slider, so the length across the back is the length you buy.
Ribbed, cropped, and a hem that stays
The knit is ribbed vertically, in thin lines that run the full height of the piece and pull it in around the body instead of lying flat on it. The hem is finished twice over, with two rows of elastic in the band, and it lands at the natural waist, above the navel. That pairing is the point: a crop that ends at the waist sits on the narrowest part of the torso, and a double elastic hem is what stops it climbing when you raise your arms. The tanks are seamless, so there is no side seam to twist in the wash.
Washing, sizes, and the white one
Sizes run S to L. Every pack holds black and white; the third colour is brown, light pink, navy or plum. Machine wash cold. Keep the white tank out of the first two or three washes with the black and the plum, and after that they can go in together. Dry them flat rather than on a hanger, because a wet ribbed knit dries longer than it started.
