Square across the chest
In front the neck is cut square: one straight edge across the chest, a short vertical rise at each corner, then straight up to the shoulder. That right angle is what separates it from a scoop, which curves. It leaves the collarbone and the whole flat of the upper chest uncovered, so a chain sits on skin instead of tucking behind a neckline, and the straps start at the corners rather than gathering towards the throat.
One opening, not a bare back
Turn it round and there is a single hole rather than an open back: an oval between the shoulder blades and the waist, closed above where the two straps meet and below by a ribbed band. The rest of the piece is smooth, so the band reads as a line drawn round the waist instead of a second garment. Because the leg runs down to the ankle, that oval sits in the upper third of the figure, which is why it narrows the waist rather than cutting the body in half.
What full length changes
A capri version makes you decide where the hem should land. This one only asks whether it is long enough, and it stops just above the ankle bone, clear of the floor. There is no cuff at the bottom, so there is nothing to roll and nothing to straighten, and the leg stays where you pulled it to instead of climbing the calf every time you stand up.
Pads, and where the support stops
The bust holds a removable pad. What it does not hold is a second band under the ribs, the part most people notice first after an hour in a one piece. For yoga, Pilates and weights the pad is enough on its own; for running, wear your own bra underneath, because a pad gives coverage and not support. Sizes run S to XL, which is the first of these seamless one pieces to go past L.
Colors, sizes, washing
Three colors: black, brown and navy. Sizes S to XL on the chart below. The fit is slim through the ribs and the thigh, and the straps have no adjuster, so if the neck pulls across the chest, go up a size rather than tugging at it. Machine wash cold and line dry, and let the pads dry outside the bust so they keep their shape.
