A tube, and the parts of it that hold
A tube top is the simplest garment a knit can make: one cylinder, no shoulder seam, no strap, no closure. What keeps it up is three things working together. The rib runs vertically and grips the body instead of lying on it. The top edge folds over into a band, which is the foldover the page names, and doubles the pressure at the widest part of the chest. And the sides are ruched, gathered elastic that shortens the front and back so the fabric cannot climb. Remove any one of the three and the tube drops.
Strapless means the whole load sits on the chest
There is no strap to share the work, so the foldover band carries everything. That is why the band is cut wide and doubled: a single narrow edge would roll outward the moment you lift your arms. The band is the same knit folded over, not a separate elastic stitched on, so the pressure spreads over a band of skin instead of pinching at one line. It is the part that shows first in every photograph, and the part that fails first if the size is wrong.
The sides are ruched, and that is what shortens it
Ruched sides are gathered elastic along each side seam, which pulls the front and back shorter than the chest measurement suggests. It keeps the hem from riding up and lets one size fit a range of chests. The page calls the length adjustable, and that is generous: there is no slider and nothing to cinch, the ruching shortens the length on its own. You adjust by choosing a size, not by moving anything.
Seamless, ribbed, and what those words actually mean
The fabric is ninety per cent polyamide and ten elastane, knitted in the round so there is no side seam to twist. The rib is a fine vertical line, which grips the body and reads as fitted without compression. Seamless and ribbed are both true in a narrow sense, but the top edge and the hem are finished with separate turned bands, so it is not seamless end to end, and the ruched sides are gathered, not a plain rib all over.
Two in a pack, and what a pack hides
The listing sells two tops. The title leads with the pair, but the page never says whether the two are one colourway or two different ones. The variation panel splits into seventeen colourways, some of which are themselves pairs. A buyer who wants a single top has nowhere to go here, and a buyer who wants a specific pair has to read the colour name closely.
Seventeen colourways, and four of them are not colours
The colour list holds seventeen values, and four carry a build prefix rather than a pure colour: Acid Wash, Bandeau, Contrast, and Stripe. Acid Wash is a finish, not a colour. Bandeau is the same tube cut in a narrower band, a different garment wearing the same name. Contrast and Stripe are two-colour pairs. This is the second listing where the colour field carries structure, after the Padded prefix on the three-pack, and a site cannot flatten these into a simple swatch row.
The size chart is complete, the grid is not
Five sizes run from extra small to extra large, but the fifty six combinations are uneven: the plain pairs carry all five sizes, while Bandeau, Contrast and Stripe colours carry one to three each. White plus Royal Blue stops at four. The chart itself is complete, so a buyer can size correctly for the pairs; the gaps are in which colourways are made in which sizes.
What it is not
It is not a bra: there are no pads, no wire, no closure, and the page says without pads outright. It is not a bandeau in the narrow sense, even though Bandeau appears as a colour prefix, because this tube has a foldover band and ruched sides where a bandeau is a flat band. It is not adjustable by any slider, whatever the page says about length. Hand wash, dry flat, and pull it on over the feet rather than over the head when you can.
